Blimey, I'd practically forgotten this place exists. Never mind. You have just lost the game.

Today is the one year anniversary of me and Lucy. So we're doing what we did last year; spending the entire day on the phone trying to get Glastonbury tickets.
I know others will be doing to same, so any shortcuts you find, please share them with your lovely lj friends. Oh yes.

Who says I only ever talk to you when I want something?

Well the title is a good enough place to start. I'm wanting it, I'm drinking it and I haven't got a job. Yet.
I'm wrestling with things inside me regarding Lucy but I know they're worth fighing for. I need to and will be a better me. I know I can do it, it's just going to take stopping being lazy and actually doing something proactive. Such optimism can only be a good thing.

Since New Year's, I've been one of the crowd and sported one of these yellow bollock-cancer awareness bracelets with "LiveStrong" scribed on it. My housemate has one of the blue "Beat Bullying" ones, which he got for free from a stand at uni. I think Lucy wants to steal it and sell it on eBay for a tidy profit. They're selling on there with starting bids of 20 quid. It's ludicrous. Within 3 weeks, I predict kids will be beating each other up in the playgrounds to get hold of them. Yeah, nice going Radio 1. This never would have happened under Greg Dyke.

The pay's fab, so I ring them up. "We're really looking for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience within the field".
Well that's hardly bloody entry level, is it? Damn you, employment agencies....
